We Will...A Poem for the Animal Rights Movement














We Will

We will always be
mindful to spread the word

that the vegan ideal crowns
all we have heard.

Our respect for animals
will guide what we say.


We will express what we
know in a gentle way.


We will be examples of the
nonviolence we preach,

so that people can witness
new heights they can reach.


We will serve justice and
summon 'sentient
